Safety
Division
administers
and
enforces
State
and
Federal
regulations,
local
ordinances,
and
model
codes.
Staff
reviews
building
plans,
specifications,
and
engineering
calculations,
and
inspects
new
construction
for
compliance
with
life,
fire,
and
seismic
safety
requirements.
The
Building
and
Safety
Division
is available
to the
public
for
consultation
concerning
prospective
projects.
