The
Finance
Division
provides
general
ledger
accounting;
financial
reporting,
auditing,
fixed
asset
management,
centralized
purchasing,
accounts
payable,
payroll,
accounts
receivable
and
cash
disbursement
services;
manages
and
invests
City
funds;
supports
the
financial
information
system;
provides
revenue
management;
administers
assessment
districts,
provides
ongoing
budget
analysis
and
control,
and
the
prepares
the
annual
budget
document.
The
Division
also
handles
financial
transactions
for
the
Department
of Water
and
Power,
the
Fire
Protection
District,
and
the
Improvement
Agency.
