Want to grow your own fruits and vegetables?  Don’t have a space big enough in your own yard?  No problem.  If you are a resident of the Big Bear Valley, you can purchase a plot in the new Community Garden that will be built on Fox Farm Rd., next to Rathbun Creek, adjacent to CVS Pharmacy.  35 plots are available and going fast!  For more info, download a brochure, or call 909-486-7676.  Donations for the garden are also needed, including lumber, perimeter fencing, a storage shed, fruit trees and a greenhouse.  Donations are tax deductible under the Lighthouse Project.
