Big
Bear
Valley
is a
world
of natural
beauty
and
crisp,
clean
alpine
air.
High
above
the
hustle
of everyday
life,
our
mountain
community
provides
the
ideal
getaway
for
the
day
or for
a long
vacation.
An
easy
drive
from
virtually
anywhere
in Southern
California,
Big
Bear
Lake
offers
numerous
recreational
opportunities
- boating,
fishing,
hiking,
camping,
mountain
biking,
horseback
riding,
skiing,
snowboarding,
snow-shoeing
and
more!
Big
Bear
Lake
is also
host
to numerous
events
throughout
the
year
including
Old
Miner's
Days,
Oktoberfest,
JazzTrax,

The
Big
Bear
Valley
Event
Resource
Office,
which
is located
at the
Visitors
Center
in the
Village,
is Big
Bear’s
top
location
for
events
information
and
resources.
The
Office
was
originally
established
through
a collaborative
effort
of the
Big
Bear
Chamber
of Commerce,
the
City
of Big
Bear
Lake,
the
Big
Bear
Lake
Resort
Association,
and
the
County
of San
Bernardino. Its
primary
goal
is to
increase
economic
development
and
the
amount
of visitors
to the
Big
Bear
Valley
thru
promoting
events. In
addition,
the
Office
actively
seeks
new
events
for
off-peak
periods.
A board
of representatives
from
the
contributing
agencies
and
organizations
provides
oversight
and
meets
on a
bi-monthly
basis.
