Small Business Hazardous Waste

In partnership with the San Bernardino County Hazardous Materials Division and Big Bear Disposal, the City continually seeks ways to expand methods for hazardous waste collection for small businesses. Currently, several options exist, including making an appointment with the County to self-transport waste to a collection site located in San Bernardino or if your business qualifies as a CESQG (Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator, generating no more than 27 gallons or 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month – not including volume containing latex paint, motor oil or antifreeze), you may bring the waste on the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. to the following location:

Big Bear Disposal
41974 Garstin Road
Big Bear Lake, CA 92315

Disposal costs vary depending on the type of waste.
