The Human Resources Department coordinates a comprehensive personnel program including position classification, compensation, recruitment, placement, evaluation, and training.  The Department also coordinates the employee benefits program including medical, dental, vision, long term disability, and deferred compensation. They coordinate labor relations for the City, monitor state and federal legislation, such as the American With Disabilities Act, and maintains confidential personnel records.
