The City of Big Bear Lake has a number of projects included in its Capital Improvement Programs to improve the area of Stanfield Marsh.

The installation of a public restroom facility was included in the Fiscal Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and is now FINISHED! The pre-fabricated restroom includes the following: three (3) ADA accessible, gender neutral bathroom stalls, a drinking fountain & a water bottle filling station!

In September 2021, the City Council authorized the acquisition from the Big Bear Municipal Water District (MWD) the Stanfield Marsh Boardwalks and other surrounding land, including the parking lot at the corner of Stanfield Cutoff and Big Bear Boulevard where this restroom is located.
