The Human Resources Department coordinates a comprehensive personnel program including position classification, compensation, recruitment, placement, evaluation, and training.  The Department also coordinates the employee benefits program including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and deferred compensation. They coordinate labor relations for the City, monitor state and federal legislation, such as the American With Disabilities Act, and maintains confidential personnel records.
