The City Council of the City of Big Bear Lake is seeking qualified citizens who are interested in serving on the City of Big Bear Lake Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission has three (3) vacancies that will be open July 1, 2021, for a four-year term ending on June 30, 2025. The Planning Commission meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 1:15 p.m. Responsibilities include decisions related to land use issues such as the General Plan, zoning, development, environmental ordinances, etc.
All applicants must be registered voters and reside in the City of Big Bear Lake.
Applications are available from the City Clerk’s office located at 39707 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, or at www.citybigbearlake.com. The City Council will interview prospective candidates. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, May 21, 2021, at 5:00 p.m
