The City will be forming a Solid Waste Advisory Committee to provide helpful input to the City Council and City staff to address solid waste collection & disposal issues and assist in the execution of a new or revised solid waste franchise agreement that benefits all community members including the residents, visitors & businesses of Big Bear Lake!
This committee will be comprised of seven (7) volunteer members including 1 Councilmember, 1 restaurant industry representative, 1 vacation rental home industry representative, and 3 at-large members. All members must either be a Big Bear Lake homeowner that utilizes or is eligible to utilize the City's solid waste services OR own a business/work for a business/organization located in Big Bear Lake that utilizes the City's solid waste services.
