On June 7- June 10, and again June 14 - June 17, the Arctic Circle will be FULLY CLOSED from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Work will only occur from Monday - Thursday. California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform rock scaling in the area.

During this closure, you must use SR-38 through Mentone, or SR-18 from Lucerne. Please note, this closure is weather-dependent and subject to change.
