On November 8, 2022, the City of Big Bear Lake will conduct its General Municipal Election for District 1 (special recall election), District 2, District 3, and District 4.

Several County, State, and Federal election contests will also be on the ballot.


In Big Bear Lake specifically, voters may cast their ballot in one of three ways:

Vote-By-Mail

All registered voters in San Bernardino County will be mailed a ballot in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by Election Day (November 8) and received no later than November 20, 2022. Seal it, sign it, and track it. 

Drop-Off Your Ballot

Drop off your ballot at the Big Bear Lake Civic Center located at 39707 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.

Vote In-Person

Cast your ballot in-person at the Big Bear Lake Civic Center. The Civic Center will be open for in-person on Election Day (November 8) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
