In November 2008 voters adopted Measure Y, a measure to set aside 2% of the TOT collected for capital improvements aimed at enhancing the visitor experience. The passing of this measure has truly kept our local dollars in the community and improved and modernized our City. Since 2008, $7 million in Capital Projects have been funded through Measure Y funds. We will continue to utilize available funds from Measure Y to sustain the future of our unique mountain home and vibrant economy with new and inventive projects.
