Event flyer for 2026 Big Bear Lake Summer Concert Series - R+B Night 8-29-26

The vintage vibes continue on August 29th! Acclaimed singer-songwriter Nick Waterhouse's modern sensibility blends traditional Rhythm and Blues with Soul and Rock and Roll, perfectly complimented by the McCharmlys, who are also inspired by the sounds of the 60’s and put a contemporary spin on Surf and Doo-Wop. We'll have family-friendly games to keep the kiddos entertained, and picnic tables in our Beer Garden so you can enjoy beer and wine as well as delicious food from local restaurants while you watch the show! Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets. Be sure to check out the official playlist on Spotify, so you can sing along at the show!

About the Artists:
Nick Waterhouse is a multi-talented musician and record man from Southern California. He is a Grammy-Award-winning producer, multi-platinum certified composer-performer, and international touring and recording artist. He has released six studio albums, one live double disc, and numerous 45 rpm singles - his preferred format. He has produced, co-written, or collaborated with the likes of Jon Batiste, Allah-Las, Joshie Jo Armstead, Lana Del Rey, Ty Segall, Leon Bridges, Willie Garcia (of Thee Midniters), Ural Thomas, The Boogaloo Assassins, Ira Raibon (The Fabulous Souls), Aaron Frazer, Nathaniel Rateliff, and many others. He is currently recording new material in the heart of Hollywood and co-running Rooky’s records in San Francisco, where his initial releases were sold.

The McCharmlys formed in 2018 in Santa Ana, California. Their name is derived from a Beatles interview. The band’s influences include The Ramones, Roy Orbison & The Beach Boys. Their contemporary edge appeals to Punk, New Wave and Rockabilly fans as well. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2023, followed by the release of singles, "You'll Be Fine" and "Break My Heart" in 2024 and "Can't Help It" earlier this year.

Nick and The McCharmlys are returning to play at Big Bear Lake Summer Concert Series for a second year, teaming up to deliver an unforgettable night of R&B music, having performed separately in the 2025 Summer Concert Series.
